Caroling and other such X'mas affairs at 131!

The Christmas Social of CBRT 131 was hosted by Hon. Tr. Abraham Ittyipe and Tr. Rajesh Simon at the Rooftop of the West Gate Terrace on the 22nd December 2006. The Dress Code was the X'mas colours of Red and Green. The fellowship, the "fellow-sip" and the food was outstanding (not withstanding the cracking loss of a bottle of Bacardi during the preparation for the meeting).

Once the microphone is in his hand, our Wine Camp covenor Tr. Rakesh, has started finding it difficult to keep it down.

Susy leading the carol singing on her keyboard.

Though not always melodious and sometimes out of tune, the 131ers gave it all their lungs best (except for a few sore voices the next day, it was a gusto performance.)

The 4 male lead vocalists Chairman Deepu, IIIPC G. G. P., Bechu and Sq. Leg Kuttan in action in the male section of the choir.

The children with their rendering of the Little Drummer Boy---"Come they told him, Paa Ra Pa Pum Pum!"

Carol Master Sq. Leg Kuttan centre stage.

The Carol Master in resplendent red conducting the carolers!

But by the time Santa Claus reached the venue, our host Sq. Leg Itty was nowhere to be seen!!! Santa Claus then explained to the children that he had a lot of trouble getting here from North Pole, because of the melting ice (blaming it on global warming) and his increasing girth & weight and that his sleigh now had to be fitted with buoyancy devices.

Bechu giving Santa an emergency "face lift". Botox, however was not used for this face-lift!!
