ART EXHIBITION - Out of the Blue

Cochin Back Water RoundTable 131 has set up on an innovative project -A Painting Exhibition of a Pool of talent who may otherwise take ages to be noticed. The target group whom we are showcasing are students of the RLV college Of Fine Arts, a Government College at Thripoonithura ,Kochi.

Though the Taste and Talent of these students are a class in itslef, many of them whither away owing to lack of access to good opportunities to display their work and get noticed; It is in this context that CBRT 131 has taken initiative to organise a 3 day Art Camp of these students at Wagamon, sponsoring all expenses including canvas, paint ,food and accomodation.

The 42 odd Oils and 10 plus sketches that sprouted in the charming ambience of the hill station are a class apart in the brush strokes and we are happy that our confidence was rewarded.

We request the Tabling fraternity to promote this initiative in all ways possible.All paintings will be on exhibit at the Lalitha Kala Academy owned Art Gallery at Durbar Hall, Kochi from May 2nd to 7th, 2008.
