1st October.10 may be a ‘dry’ day for boozers, but not so for the 16 member squad of tablers who showed up at the doorstep of IPC Tr. Rakesh Ramachandran. Reason? A surprise birthday bash for Rakesh who turned a milestone 40 years!! Tablers and ladies barged into his flat at Amity Park around 6.30 pm with a bunch of flowers, a delicious lichie cake and loads of good wishes and cheer. A visibly surprised Rakesh and family played the perfect host and what followed was the clatter of glasses and bottles and wine and rum admist lots of clicks and pics. The impromptu fellowship, first of its kind, continued at Tabler Mathews’ place in the flat upstairs. Needless to say, it was truly a memorable evening of pure fun and relaxation, a perfect way of stress busting, which ran till 3AM the next morning.
